Trending: Vice Ganda breaks down at Direk Wenn's wake - MANILA - Vice Ganda, who has worked with Wenn Deramas in blockbuster films like "Beauty and the Bestie" and "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin," was beyond distraught when he spoke about the "most difficult" role the director gave him.
"Ang daming mong role na ibinigay sa akin pero parang lahat ang dali lang. Ang pinakamahirap na role na ibinigay niya sa akin ay iyong role na mamili ng kabaong niya nang mag-isa noong isang araw," said Vice Ganda.

The 39-year-old comedian was speaking at Deramas' wake held at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Quezon City. There were also tribute performances from singers such as Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, and Angeline Quinto.
In an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" shortly after, Vice Ganda called Deramas as the best director he has ever worked with, and that the annual Metro Manila Film Festival will not be the same without his comedy films.
"[He will be] remembered as the director na laging may magandang regalo sa [mga Pilipino] tuwing Pasko, iyong isang pelikula na tatawanan nila kasama ang kanilang mga pamilya," he said.
For the past five editions of the MMFF, Vice Ganda has starred in all of Deramas' entries. Their films have grossed more than P1.9 billion collectively, according to estimates from producer Star Cinema.
